The Christmas Decorations

Once again our ladies have done a fantastic job decorating our church.  A big thank you to Alison and Janice from Red Lion Farm for donating the Christmas Tree, it was great to see Janice out and about.

Nativity Ringing at Haughton - Raising Money for Ronald McDonald Houses

Today we rang a quarter peal of 1260 Plain Bob doubles to celebrate our Nativity service.

The Bell Ringers were

Rung for our Nativity Service.

We have made a charitable donation to Ronald McDonald Houses appear.   The charity is obviously linked to the famous burger chain, and provides accommodations near to Children's hospitals for parents and carers of Children who require long stays in hospital.

One of our new ringers have recently had a Grandchild in hospital for major operation requiring a long stay in hospital, he said the charity has provided he child's parents with accommodation so they been near to their son, helping with a swift recovery.

Thank you to Selwyn, David and Gill for coming to ring with us.
