It's with great sadness to announce that Marian Owen passed away on Thursday night.
The funeral is provisionally booked for the 3rd March at 11.30am at Ingestre.
Marion was a member and Captain of the Ingestre band for many years and also loyal member of the Stafford band, having learnt at Edgmond.
Marion and her late husband Dennis used to visit Haughton's practice often in the late nineties and early noughties, helping our band to progress from ringing rounds to call changes, Plain Hunt and to Plain Bob. She was also public relations officer of the North Staffs Ringing Association for many years.
