The celebrations started off by raising the Union Jack on top of the Church Tower.

There were a few other performances for the Jubilee throughout the North Staffs Association during the weekend, please click here to view
On the Friday I joined a Shropshire band to ring a Peal of Grandsire Triples at Cardington, again the village didn't disappoint. They were having their Jubilee part after the peal and had decorated the village red, white and blue.
I was then invited to end the celebrations in the North of our county at Ipstones on Sunday 5th with a Peal. It was a wet and dull say, but the view over the Stafforshire Moorlands were still amazing.
So unfortunately I was unable to help our Haughton team end the Village's celebrations at 6pm, but they did us proud and recorded the following performance: https://bb.ringingworld.co.uk/view.php?id=1522418
The performance was photographed by Gill Anslow, Thank you Gill
So we had a busy but thoroughly enjoyable weekend. thank you for everyone joining in.
