Bell Ringing Practice - Wednesday 16th September 2020

The practice was attended by our 6 resident (non-self-isolating) ringers.  We spent some more time on our raising and lowering skills and progress is being made.

We then rang rounds and these are starting to get quite steady, our listening skills are starting to improve.

Our last part of the practice was dedicated to Ann Hodgkins as we had learned she sadly passed away earlier in the week (see our previous post).

Next week we will still be concentrating on our bell handling, listening, and hopefully be looking towards making a few changes.

We would like to Thank Rosemarie from Gnosall who came and rang with us last Sunday morning making us a full team.  After discussing who could make this Sunday, we were unsure, as it depends on other commitments of our ringers if they are cancelled or not due to the Covid-19 pandemic. If a ringer from another tower would like a rope and we do get 7 then I would be happy to stand out and allow for social distancing.
