Ringing at St Giles Haughton in Memory of HM Queen Elizabeth II

At 12 noon the Bell ringers rang half-muffled in memory of Queen Elizabeth II

The performances were as follows:

1. Call Changes including 96 Queens.  The ringers were:

5. Jocelyne Lock
6 Trevor Stacey

2. 96 Rounds.  The ringers were:
1. Karen Powell
2. Trevor Stacey
3. Mervyn Lock
4. Hilary Saunders
5. Trevor Lock
6 Jocelyne Lock

3. 96 Queens.  The ringers were:
1. Karen Powell
2. Trevor Stacey
3. Mervyn Lock
4. Rosemarie Harris
5. Jocleyne Lock
6 Trevor Lock

4. 96 Rounds.  The ringers were:
1. Karen Powell
2. Mervyn Lock
3. William Hall
4. Hilary Saunders
5. Rosemarie Harris
6 Trevor Stacey

3. 576 Diminishing  Rounds.  The ringers were:
1. Karen Powell
2. Mervyn Lock
3. Trevor Lock
4. Rosemarie Harris
5. Jocelyne Lock
6 Trevor Stacey
96 rounds were rung on 6, then on 5, then on 4 then on 3, then on 2 and finally the tenor.

Dick Bowler wishes to be associated with these performance.  A donation of £20 have been made by the bell ringers to the North Staffordshire Bell Restoration Fund, for these performances.





















It's been an absolute honor ring our tribute to our longest serving monarch.
















Tomorrow we will ring at 11am 'fully open' for the Proclamation of King Charles III.

The bells will be heard fully open for our Sunday Service and then will be half muffled again for the remaining mourning period.
