Dent in Cumbria

Dent - Cumbria/ Yorkshire Border

I am always amazed at the beautiful places Bell Ringing takes me, and the village on Dent on the Cumbria Yorkshire border didn't disappoint with it's cobbled streets and picturesque houses.  Further details of the village can be found from this link: https://www.visitcumbria.com/yd/dent/ The start time for the peal was set at 12 noon as I had to drop my children off at school in Stafford before I could start the two and half hour Journey north on the M6.

We rang 56 methods of Minor, full details of the peals can be found here: https://bb.ringingworld.co.uk/view.php?id=1557898

Details of Dent Bells can be found from Dove's webpage: https://dove.cccbr.org.uk/detail.php?tower=16011

Haughton Bell Ringers practice every Tuesday evening from 8pm until 9pm. We welcome new ringers, and anyone who would like to visit us to find out more. Please feel free to share this post by text, email or social media
